Kingswood Eye Centre aims to provide the best care and treatment for its patients.

To achieve that, the centre has invested in cutting edge technology that allows ultra-widefield retinal imaging and scan acquisition of the cornea, retina and other layers of the eye.

Thus allowing our specialists to better diagnose and treat patients when it comes to

  • macular degeneration
  • retinal disease
  • cataracts
  • laser procedures
  • diabetic eye disease amongst others

The centre is also proud to announce that it recently acquired a Zeiss Cirrus 6000 optical coherence tomography which also performs retinal angiography. This is a fast, safe and non-invasive procedure to assess blood vessels in the eye.

This technology is useful in the diagnosis and understanding of retinal conditions such as macular degeneration, vein occlusions and diabetic retinopathy.

The centre has also purchased the latest Zeiss IOLmaster 700 biometer to assist in calculating the optimal intraocular lens to be used during cataract surgery.
